Beit Avichai hosts "Dancing Ashkenazis," an authentic Ashkenazi dance workshop, in six parts. This is your opportunity to learn the special genre of Jewish dance that evolved in Eastern Europe, including dances for individuals, pairs, and groups.
Instructor: Prof. Walter Zev Feldman, a scholar of music and one of the few experts on the authentic dancing of Ashkenazi Jewry.
The workshop will be accompanied by a musical ensemble.
