The Merkaz presents a new group exhibition at Hadassah Art Gallery--From the Golan With Love.
Grand opening: Thursday, June 4th 2009 at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served.
About the exhibit:
In this exhibit called “From the Golan with Love”, each artist expresses his or her love for the Golan from their own point of view and heart's desire. Some artists connected with the past, while others portrayed the stunning views and natural surroundings. Several chose to relate to a specific detail in the view.
The exhibition features a variety of techniques, as chosen by the artists themselves. These techniques represent an interesting cross section of the perceptions of the Golan's artistic community, and their artistic consciousness, allowing a brief glance at this region, with its glorious past and unclear future.
