Tuesday feb 17th

Some 100,000 visitors are expected to participate in the 24th bi-annual International Book Fair at the Jerusalem International Conference Center (Binyanei Ha-uma), where over 800 publishers and writers from Israel and around the world will display their books.  The prestigious Jerusalem Prize, awarded to a writer whose work best expresses and promotes freedom of the individual in society, will be presented to renowned Japanese writer Haruki Murakami.
