The Israel Festival is the largest and most important international arts and cultural festival in the country, and it has chosen Jerusalem as its eternal home. On June 7, the whole family can enjoy a performance of "The Sixteenth Sheep," based on Yehonatan Geffen's book of children's verse.
Details:
"The Sixteenth Sheep" is the best known and best loved of Jehonathan Geffen's book of verse for children. Many of the poems were set to music by Yoni Rechter and have since been sung by young and old, including
"The Prettiest Girl in Kindergarten", "How a Song is Born", "I Love Chocolate", "Thunder and Lightning", and others.
The play has been staged twice before, by the Cameri Theatre and Habima National Theatre, making this the third and newest production.
