In the shadow of the Pope's visit, the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra, with Maestro Uto Ughi, will perform a concert at Hebrew University.

 

Ughi was last in Israel a few months ago for a concert in Tel Aviv, held during the official visit of the President of the Italian Republic, Mr. Giorgio Napolitano.

Maestro Ughi, in both roles of director and soloist, will perform with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Rome, performing music by Mozart, Boccherini, Saint-Saëns, Massenet, Bizet.

Israel is the opening stage of a concert tour that will also include Egypt, Vietnam and Greece.
