Jerusalem Day, which falls out on May 20-21, will be celebrated in various locations around Jerusalem with a wide array of events.
Wednesday, May 20
20:30: Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra performs a gala concert at Kikar Safra. Conductor: Gal Altrovich. The orchestra will play classic well known and loved Jerusalem songs, as well as new songs in honor of Jerusalem composed by the conductor. The concert will end with a fireworks display. Invitations are available at Jerusalem community centers, at the culture branch of the municipality, and through the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.

Thursday, May 21
15:00-16:30: Open house with Mayor Nir Barkat and Mrs. Barkat, at the City of David Museum. Open to the public.
20:00: Ceremony honoring Lovers of Jerusalem, at the Tower of David. By invitation only.
10:00, 12:00, 14:00: Walking Tours in the Municipality plaza. The starting point for the tours is at the palm trees in front of the Municipality. The tours will include: a tour of historic buildings, a visit to the city council hall, a view from a lookout point over Jerusalem, a visit to a replica of the City Center. Tours are free.
15:30-22:30: Flag March, prayer and ceremony at the Kotel. Dance floor in the City Center with the Ayelet Hashachar and Invei HaGeffen bands from 16:00.
20:00: Festive assembly at Yeshivat Merkaz HaRav, with Musa Berlin and Akiva Margalit. Dancing with the Lehava band.
