The Camery Theatre presents "The Return to Haifa," a drama about an Arab couple Sefia and Sayid who, at the hight of the War of Independence in 1948, were forced to flee their house in Haifa, and in the rush and confusion left their baby behind in the house. Twenty years later, they return to their house in Haifa to find out what happened to their baby, and find a Jewish women, a holocaust survivor, living there, who has raised the child as her own. An engaging literary creation about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, that puts at its center the question: Who are the child's real parents--those who bore him or those who raised him? An unusual and fascinating theatrical performance.
